I am a first year Robotics MS student at the University of Michigan.

Currently, I am doing a research project called dandelion-picking legged robot. This project involves a hexapedal robot called BigAnt that demonstrates a lawn pest control task: picking dandelions. The purpose of this project is to investigate how multi-legged robots can offer an alternative solution to existing agricultural machines that are unable to move over rubble and steep or loose ground. They trample continuous strips of land thereby reducing the viable crop area. Some of the programming tools and concepts that I use in this project are Python, C++, Robot Operating System (ROS), algorithmic control schemes, and SLAM.
