Parag's research spanned topics in adaptive estimation, approximation theory, and functional differential equations. Broadly, he is interested in working in the areas of nonlinear dynamics and nonlinear control theory. Particularly, gained experience in studying the nonlinear phenomena modeled by delay differential equations, and/or integro-differential equations (such as in case of hysteresis behavior ). Recently, he has also been interested in exploring and extending the some of the data-driven approaches ( e.g. Koopman Operator Theory ) to wider class of models governed by functional differential equations, hybrid systems, and non local PDEs.
