I study homotopy theory and its cousins, such as higher category theory and homotopical algebra. I hope to be accepted into the University of Michigan's mathematics Ph.D program in the future.

My work with the lab involves developing the theory of event-selected systems in a categorical setting. We are currently working with a class of spaces called collared complexes. In these spaces, certain subspaces act as “off-shell” regions for event-selected dynamics, simplifying conditions under which data may be integrated to obtain piecewise-differentiable flows on-shell.
